Vintage Viking Glass Miniature Cat and Teddy Bear Figurines

Description

This is a pair of miniature pressed glass animal figurines.
Both pieces feature molded glass formed into the shapes of a cat and a teddy bear.
The amethyst-colored cat displays a bow around the neck and measures approximately 2 3/8” in height and 2” in length.
The orange-tinted teddy bear also displays a bow around the neck and measures approximately 2 ¼” in height and 2” in length.
A clear Viking Glass label is attached to the polished base of the bear.
The cat is unmarked but is so similar in design that I assume it is also a product of the Viking Glass Company.
Despite some roughness along the mold lines both of these figurines are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, discoloration or any evidence of damage.
This is a delightful pair of pressed glass animal figurines.
Viking Glass Company History
:  The Viking Glass Company was originally the New Martinsville Glass Company that operated between 1901 and 1940 in New Martinsville, West Virginia.  It was renamed the Viking Glass Company in 1944 and continued to produce colorful, handmade glassware products until its closure in 1984.
