Description
Thomas & Thomas Fly Fishing Rod Lot of 2 Special Trouter Bamboo etc. The shafts and eyelets are in good shape but the metal on both have issues and need to be either replaced or reconditioned. I have not attempted to clean them nor touched them. Both say Thomas & Thomas on the metal bottom part where the reel sits. The fiberglass or graphite rod is two pieces is 8' when assembled and says No 784.
The bamboo "Special Trouter" one is 84.5" with one tip and 80" with the other tip on. The tips and rod have the matching no 3148 one tip has 1 black dot next to the number and the other has 2.
Both have fabric bags but not sure if they are original.
Any more info on these would be appreciated in terms of approximate age etc.
No international shipping on these and I am going to let the auction route determine their destiny.

I have two tubes with metal screw caps that these came with but they have no labels on them so I am not positive they are original to these rods. If you want these as well consider these in your bidding but know
I will need to adjust the total shipping to be .00 and not the original additional due to their added bulk and weight. Just let me know at check out and I will invoice you with the changes.
One tube is 50.25" and has one dent
One tube is 44.5"
Both have signs of age and wear and could use some serious cleaning.

Some with more expertise with these rods say that the shorter one is that way because it was repaired and the longer one appears to have a "repair wrap" on the bottom part of the shaft were the metal piece connects to the lower half above the numbering. So please factor this in to your bidding and please understand I have very limited expertise on rods and I am relying on what others are telling me.
