(plus 200 bucks) to insured no more degradation on the piece. Wprst part about it is someone used gum to glue on(see last two pictures). In framing you cannot see. I will entertain any offers on this, and thanks for your interest. Priced because there is nothing close to this on the market anywhere that I have found in large amount of research. Museum quality piece that should hold value because of rareness.

About Nabbuco:
Nabucco
is the opera which is considered to have permanently established Verdi's reputation as a composer. He commented that "this is the opera with which my artistic career really begins. And though I had many difficulties to fight against, it is certain that
Nabucco
was born under a lucky star.
Dispirited by the loss of his family, Verdi entered the 1840s disheartened, struggling to find inspiration to continue creating music. He soon found solace in his work, however, by composing two new, fourt-part operas in 1842 and '43,
Nabucco
and
I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata
(best known simply as
I Lombardi
), respectively. Both pieces earned the composer a great amount of success.
About Astor:
The theatre was built with the intention of attracting only the "best" patrons, the uppertens of New York Society,
who were increasingly turning out to see European singers who appeared at local venues.
In pursuit of this agenda, the theatre was created with the comfort of the upper classes in mind: benches, the normal seating in theatres at the time, were replaced by upholstered seats, available only by subscription, as were the two tiers of boxes. On the other hand, 500 general admission patrons were relegated to the benches of a "cockloft" reachable only by a narrow stairway, and otherwise isolated from the gentry below. Astor Riot was pitted again the wealthy, deadlist civic disturbance to that point in Manhattan.
About Verdi:
Giuseppe Verdi was born in Italy in 1813, prior to Italian unification. Verdi produced many successful operas, including
La Traviata
,
Falstaff
and
Aida
, and became known for his skill in creating melody and his profound use of theatrical effect. Additionally, his rejection of the traditional Italian opera for integrated scenes and unified acts earned him fame. Verdi died on January 27, 1901, in Milan, Italy.
